TLC Bird Haven's Future New
Parrot Sanctuary & Boarding Facility

TLC is currently working to secure funds in the form of donations and grants to build a new parrot sanctuary and boarding facility in Deer Park, Washington. The Board of Directors and Volunteers at TLC have already secured 15 acres of land located adjacent to HWY 395 north of Spokane, Washington. The location of the new sanctuary is ideally situated to attract tourists traveling between the U.S. and Canada. The sanctuary will be open to the public for tours and informational presentations directed to conservation of these beautiful creatures in the wild.

The rescue will include separate areas for special needs parrots, boarding and the main parrot flock. Parrots living at the sanctuary will have a way of life as close to nature as we can provide while ensuring their safety and protection. This will include trees for perching, water features and the ability to be fully flighted.
